Yesterday "Redneck Woman" Gretchen Wilson helped announce the nominees for the 47th annual GRAMMY Awards - but it was Loretta Lynn who scored the most nods. Loretta's up for Best Country Album (Van Lear Rose); Best Country Song ("Portland, Oregon" and "Miss Being Mrs."); Best Country Collaboration ("Portland, Oregon" with Jack White); and Best Country Female Vocal Performance ("Miss Being Mrs."). "I was shocked and excited when I heard about the nominations 'cause I hadn't got this many before in the same year. It really was a collaboration with me and Jack," said Loretta of her duet partner and producer, Jack White of the White Stripes. "I'm just so happy to be nominated with him." Gretchen didn't go home empty-handed either - she was nominated in the Best Album, Best Country Female Vocal Performance and Best Country Song categories. She also received a nomination in the all-genre Best New Artist group, which again pits her against rapper Kanye West, who was a sore loser to Gretchen at the American Music Awards.
