George has scored more No. 1 singles than any singer in country history, while Sonny had a string of 16 straight No. 1 hits from 1967–1971. Bradley, known as the “Dean of Nashville Session Guitarists,” is considered the most-recorded guitar player in the world. All three were presented with medals commemorating their induction. Other Hall of Fame members on hand at the ceremony included Bill Anderson, Kitty Wells, Porter Wagoner and more. Before the ceremony, George, who arrived on the red carpet with wife Norma, noted, “It’s just incredible to have this happen at this point in my career. And yet I’m not ready to quit by any means.” Alan Jackson and Lee Womack each sang one of George’s hits during the ceremony.
