The 2006 festival drew more than 161,000, the largest crowd in history at the time. This year, in addition to overall attendance, single-concert tickets for the Nightly Concerts at LP Field increased 14% from 2006. The CMA opened the upper bowl of the stadium to meet the demand for four-day ticket packages and single-night concert tickets. The 2007 record may not stand for long, however. Tickets for CMA Music Festival 2008, which will run June 5–8, went on sale June 9, and Gold Circle four-day packages sold out in a record 90 minutes.
