The St. Louis native’s “Country Girl” single entered the chart this week at No. 58. The last African-American female to appear on the list was Dona Mason, whose "Green Eyes (Cryin' Those Blue Tears)," recorded with Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass, reached No. 62 in 1987. “Country Girl” is available now at iTunes, and will be included on Rissi’s self-titled debut album, due Oct. 23.
