Nashville's Centennial park will be filled with great music, fun shopping, contests, demonstrations, a Kid Zone and more during the Oct. 13 Dog Day Festival presented by the Nashville Humane Association for the 18th consecutive year. Six hours of live music, showcasing some of Nashville's best up-and-coming performers and hottest songwriters, begin at 10 a.m. and will feature Keith Bryant, Minnie Murphy, Chris Wallin, Jon McConnell, Andrea Pearson and Jamie White. Kids get in free and it's only $5 for everyone over 5 years old, with all proceeds to benefit the Nashville Humane Association. Get more information at nashvillehumane.org.
