The suit seeks $10 million in damages and names the label along with its president and CEO, Ray Termini of Connecticut. Travis contends that Termini misrepresented the labelÂs skill and competence as a record company, its financial resources and ability to honor its financial obligations. Last month, Termini, who is also the CEO of Haven Healthcare, a nursing home company, was investigated by Connecticut state officials for allegedly misusing Medicaid money to start the label. Termini has denied those allegations. TravisÂ lawsuit claims that Category 5 owes him close to $400,000, as of Dec. 1.
