Friends and fellow Opry members Trace Adkins, George Jones and Brad Paisley will be among the stars helping pay tribute to Little Jimmy. Introduced on the Opry by Roy Acuff in 1948, Little Jimmy has been an Opry favorite for the past several decades. The legendary entertainer invited Trace to join the Opry from atop a kitchen ladder on the Opry stage in 2003, and has appeared in several music videos with Brad. “Jimmy Dickens is uniquely and forever tied to the Grand Ole Opry,” said Pete Fisher, Opry vice president and general manager. “He is one of the most beloved and respected people in the history of not only the Opry, but all of country music, and we are thrilled to celebrate this landmark anniversary with him.” To order tickets for the Opry, call (800) SEE-OPRY or visit opry.com .
