Gretchen exploded on to the country music scene and the national spotlight in 2004 with her rousing anthem, “Redneck Woman,” which made her a virtual overnight success. She released three albums for Sony Music Nashville: Here for the Party, All Jacked Up and One of the Boys. A new album had been planned but was never released. A statement from the label noted that although Gretchen will no longer record with the label as a solo artist, both parties look forward to working together on future catalog projects.
