The exhibit features vintage photos, posters, archival television and concert footage and many other fascinating items. Brenda Lee: Dynamite will explore the life and musical impact of Brenda, who started her career as a teen pop singer and recorded such memorable hits as “I’m Sorry” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” She became known as “Little Miss Dynamite” for her combination of diminutive stature and exciting stage presence. In the 1970’s, she turned her attention to country and scored hits like “Big Four Poster Bed,” “Rock On Baby” and others. Brenda is the only solo female artist inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame. The Brenda Lee: Dynamite exhibit will be on display through June of 2010.
