Rascal Flatts spent an evening during Nashville’s Country Radio Seminar honoring radio stations for playing the band's music for the last 10 years. On February 24 at Nashville’s Renaissance Hotel, hundreds of radio programmers and on-air talent joined the trio for the celebration.
The group performed a special acoustic set, including songs like “Church on Cumberland Road” with special guest Marty Raybon and a version of “Jesse’s Girl” that the trio revamped to be named “Bubba’s Girl” during a radio tour in 2000.
The band also honored several radio stations that were among the first to begin playing Rascal Flatts’ songs, including WKHX in Atlanta and KBEQ in Kansas City. All honorees were awarded with custom Rascal Flatts 10-year commemorative Les Paul guitars.
