The band was appearing at the annual Tumbleweed Calf fry event in Stillwater. Cody suffered a concussion from the injury, which required more than 20 stitches, according to the band’s website, crosscanadianragweed.com . The group's management in Nashville tells Country Weekly that Cody is doing well and should heal from his injury. The band canceled a May 1 performance in Kansas City, but there is no further news on future shows. Cross Canadian Ragweed formed in Yukon, Okla., and became popular in the Stillwater area after moving to the college town. They remain a favorite on the collegiate circuit. The band’s most recent album is Happiness and All the Other Things, released in August of 2009.
