More than 500 bikers showed up for the Little Big Town Ride for a Cure yesterday (July 11) in Nashville.
Luke Bryan, Josh Thompson and The Band Perry played a show afterward at a Harley-Davidson dealership about 45 minutes south of Music City. All the money from the ride and concert goes to the T.J. Martell Foundation, which raises money to battle life-threatening illnesses.
"All of our families have been touched by cancer," Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman told reporters yesterday. "Maybe we saved a life today."
As reported earlier, Luke Bryan sang but he didn't ride. "I've been adamantly instructed by my wife, if I get on a Harley, I'm in big trouble," Luke told Country Weekly, "due to my lack of coordinated-ness, I guess is the way to say it."
