Sure, he's a big, booming hulk of a country singer who seems invincible. But even Trace Adkins has his moments.
Take the filming of an upcoming Matthew McConaughey movie, Lincoln Lawyer, for instance. Trace tells the Tennessean he got a little nervous shooting a scene where a bunch of motorcycles pull over McConaughey’s character in a car.
"That was interesting to shoot that," Trace told the newspaper. "I had two stunt men flanking me, but the rest of the guys were real biker guys. They asked me, ‘Are you comfortable doing this?’ I said, ‘Yeah, sure.’
"I wasn't. I didn't want to let them know that."
As far as future acting gigs, Trace says there are boundaries. "I'm not Philip Seymour Hoffman—I can't do Truman Capote. A man's got to know his limitations and I think I know mine. I wouldn't try to do anything that I could guarantee you I would suck at."
