Rascal Flatts hit New York yesterday (Nov. 17) to plug their new album and to help the Salvation Army kick off its online Angel Giving Tree program .
The group’s Jay DeMarcus may have been a little overwhelmed in the city of 8 million people. He tweeted:
“In one day, if you had a nickel for every car horn blown in NYC . . . You could pay the national deficit . . . Now there’s your bailout!!!”
And then :
“NY, the friendliest of cities. People keep waving with one fifth of their hand here . . . Awesome.”
