Faith Hill is known for crossing boundaries with her squeaky-clean pop-country style, and she’s getting ready to do some more crossing over when she makes her first appearance on CMT Crossroads for a Super Bowl special on Feb. 5, trading tunes with The Pretenders, the English-American rock band known for such hits as 1982's "Back on the Chain Gang."
The two acts will perform at 10 p.m. ET at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas, for CMT Crossroads: The Pretenders and Faith Hill Live From the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam.
As per the show’s practice, Faith will perform several of the band’s hits with them before being joined by the group’s lead singer, Chrissie Hynde, for another set of Faith's own songs.
The CMT Crossroads taping is one of several events leading up to one of the most highly awaited yearly sport events, the Super Bowl, which which will take place at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Feb. 6.
