It has probably been a few years since Alan Jackson played a middle school in a tiny Tennessee town.
A.J. has booked just such a gig. He'll play the “Coming Home Concert” annual fundraiser for the Hawkins County (Tenn.) American Cancer Society. And that happens April 14 at the Rogersville Middle School in—where else?—Rogersville, Tenn.
Alan is doing so at the request of longtime country broadcaster—and Rogersville native—Charlie Chase, half of the fabled Crook & Chase team.
Charlie’s first radio job came at WRGS AM 1370 radio in his hometown.
Fans snapped up the $50 tix in just a few hours.
