Who’s Gonna Fill Their Legendary Shoes?
Male country singers these days pride themselves on being just one of the boys, more than happy to sit on a tailgate and share a cold one. But while Tim McGraw does have an every-bro appeal, there is also something intangible about him that just shouts “star.” And thank goodness, because country needs that. Sure, it’s fine to be relatable, but not at the risk of being forgettable. Tim most certainly is not that. For those who have seen him in concert, either in stadiums last summer with Kenny Chesney, in a Vegas showroom with wife Faith Hill, or in arenas on his current Two Lanes of Freedom Tour, they’re left with an image of a true entertainer. With a capital E.
