Rising new star Jamey Johnson closed down the streets of Nashville and performed a free concert for fans and folks just passing by. The event was billed as Downtown Shutdown ’09—Kickin’ Asphalt, and free food and drinks were provided while they lasted. Jamey performed tunes from his acclaimed CD That Lonesome Song and others.
