Trace Adkins appears to be busier than ever with a new album, his recent successful stint on All-Star Celebrity Apprentice and a movie role. But that’s just the way he prefers it, as Trace notes in this exclusive Country Weekly cover story.

“I like when the creative stuff is happening,” Trace says. “That’s what’s exciting to me.” Trace talks about his Celebrity Apprentice experience and his admiration for fellow contestant Penn Jillettte, calling him “absolutely brilliant.”
