Tim McGraw has every right to be a happy man, with a great family, a new hit single and a tour that’s playing to sold-out audiences everywhere. But that doesn’t mean he’s content.

“I’m a competitor,” Tim says in this revealing cover story. “I always want to be better. I feel like I’m not even close to being as good as I want to be.”
