July 15, 2013 – Toby’s Truth

Toby Keith has a variety of projects on his plate, including his July 6 benefit relief concert for the tornado victims in Oklahoma, his home state. Toby talks about the concert and the recent devastation.

Toby noted, “These latest [storms] were about as bad as I’ve ever seen. It’s real comparable to what happened in 1999.”

Toby’s also riding high with a new single, “Drinks After Work,” a different sort of song for him and one of the few in his career that he didn’t write.

“It sounded like a summertime hit and we all agreed to go with it,” Toby recalls.
