January 28, 2013 – Country Idol: Keith Urban

In this CW exclusive interview, Keith Urban talks about his new role as a judge on the popular American Idol TV series.

Keith notes that he's enjoying the job, except for one basic element–having to reject a contestant. “I don’t like that feeling at all,” Keith says. “It’s good for the people we send through, of course. But those that we don’t, it’s an awful feeling.”

Keith says that while such shows as Idol can provide an avenue for artists, he would not trade his experience of paying his dues playing clubs. Keith also talks about his upcoming new album, which promises plenty of diverse sounds.
