April 21, 2014, NASH Magazine – Rascal Flatts: Reloaded

The Rascal Flatts trio of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney aims to pull off a difficult balancing act with their latest single “Rewind” and upcoming new album: preserving their iconic style while expanding their sound at the same time. The guys look back at their early days and discuss how they've evolved over the years in this issue's NASH cover story.

“When we first came out,” Jay says, “people started deriding us as a ‘boy band of country music.’ That was one of the very first knocks on us.” But no one could ever deny their tight and flawless harmonies. “You cannot manufacture chemistry,” Jay says.

Also, in this week’s NASH Q&A, the always-candid Gary Allan reveals where he feels the most contented and what he considers his greatest accomplishment.

Plus, get out and about with Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and other stars in NASH ON the SCENE.

Check out the special 16-page NASH Magazine bonus insert inside the April 21 issue of Country Weekly.
