Zac Brown Fights Through Nasty Cold for Big Nashville Show

Zac tells Eat-and-Greet crowd beforehand that he caught a Christmas cold that all four of his kids had.

Sometimes Santa—with all that winter travel—can deliver a bug or two.

Such was the case for Zac Brown, who told the Eat-and-Greet crowd before his show Thursday night (Dec. 29) that all four of his children had Christmas colds. So Dad picked up that unwanted present just before the big Zac Brown Band concert in Nashville.

Zac told fans and Music Row insiders—including Country Weekly's Ken Tucker—that he needed to go to Nashville's Vanderbilt University Medical Center for a shot of antibiotics before the show.

And the show must go on! Zac's voice wasn't quite as strong as usual at the start of the show, but he finished strong, Ken reports.

But Zac's not done yet: He is set to do a New Year's Eve show in Atlanta in his home state of Georgia.
