Zac Brown Band Takes Sturgill Simpson on the Road This Summer

He’s a favorite in the Country Weekly offices and evidently he’s a favorite in the Zac Brown Band, too, because the “Sweet Annie” singers are packing Sturgill Simpson up and bringing him with them for select dates in the Northeast on their Great American Road Trip Tour this summer.

The Road Trip has also welcomed Kacey Musgraves and Keb’ Mo’ for dates for the summer run, which kicked off just a few weeks ago. Zac and the boys also welcomed new band member Matt Mangano on bass and revealed a new stage and light show for the tour.
