You saw Zac Brown Band and Foo Fighters leader Dave Grohl performing "Day for the Dead" together on the CMA Awards earlier in November, right? Turns out there's plenty more where that came from.

On Dec. 10, ZBB will release The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1 to iTunes. The Dave Grohl-produced album is the first batch of tunes ZBB has recorded at their new Southern Ground Studios in Nashville, including the first studio recording of "Day for the Dead." The usual band lineup is augmented by appearances from Dave on drums and Oteill Burbridge on bass.

"Dave is a musical genius," said Zac in a statement. "It's been amazing to play with him onstage and get to spend time working with him in the studio. We are excited for fans to hear the music we've been able to create together."

Check out a behind-the-scenes peek at making the album below.
