Young Fan Gets to Play With His Guitar Hero, Keith Urban, on “The View”

The boy, Carson Lueders, got more than 200,000 YouTube hits with his cover of “For You.”

Looks like dreams come true on The View.

Keith Urban appeared on the show with Barbara Walters and the gang Wednesday (Sept. 11), and they hit Keith with a surprise.

A 12-year-old boy named Carson Lueders has been getting hundreds of thousands of views for his YouTube videos in which Carson plays guitar and sings.

He started playing guitar five years or so ago when he saw Keith Urban play the CMT Music Awards.

“I just said, ‘Mom, I wanna grow up and jam on my guitar like Keith Urban,’” Carson told the crowd.

Carson went on to play and sing “A Little Bit of Everything” for Keith. And Keith turned around and gave Carson a brand-new electric guitar.

“That’s crazy,” Carson said between thank-yous.
