Yeah, He’s a Superstar Now, but Luke Bryan’s Not Afraid to Leave the House

“My main thing is just to go out and enjoy doing things and don’t live in a cave.”

Yes, Luke Bryan is now the ACM Artist of the Year, and yes, he co-hosted that show, and yes, he’s now a bona fide A-list country star. But Luke tells MSN that he’s not afraid to leave the house.

“My main thing is just to go out and enjoy doing things and don’t live in a cave thinking that people are trying to get ya,” Luke said.

Plus, he doesn’t get swarmed like it’s 1964 and he’s in The Beatles.

“People think that there’s a mob of people that starts following me around,” he said.

“Yeah, I’ll sign some autographs and take some pictures, and then get to doing whatever I need to do. That’s kind of how we roll with it.”

Luke says he had a slow build with his career, and that helped him not get the big head.

“I’m so blessed because my whole path in this business has been very, very gradual,” he said.

“I don’t want to get out there in fairy-tale land too far. I’ve seen it [happen] so many times where people get kind of crazy and weird.”
