The North Shore Animal League America has named Wynonna Judd as the national spokesperson for its 11th annual Tour for Life. During the event, two Mobile Adoption Units travel across the country, partnering with more than 100 shelter and rescue groups in 19 states. The monthlong animal adoption initiative begins on Saturday, March 19.

"My pets have always been a very important part of my life. They are loyal, nonjudgmental and offer unconditional love. Being the spokesperson for Tour for Life gives me an opportunity to encourage other Americans to share the same happiness," says animal lover Wynonna. "When considering a new family member, please stop by a local shelter and rescue a homeless pet, they will be eternally grateful to you for saving their life."
