Wynonna a Millionaire Winner
Wynonna Judd won $50,000 for her favorite charity, Backpack Mission Ministries. during her appearance on the ABC-TV game show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Aug. 18.
Wynonna’s winnings will help to provide backpacks filled with food for children in impoverished homes of rural Kentucky, her home state. Wynonna was presented with a puzzling mathematical scenario and with the help of a ‘Phone-A-Friend’ lifeline--her Aunt Margaret Mandell--Wynonna provided the correct answer to win the money for the kids’ charity.
