Wynonna Files for Divorce

Wynonna Judd has filed for divorce from her husband of three years, D.R. Roach, after his arrest Thursday, March 22, in Abilene, Texas.

Roach was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a minor under age 13 in Nashville. A Nashville grand jury indicted Roach on three sexual battery charges against a minor last week, according to the Nashville Metro Police Department. Specific details about the allegations have not been disclosed either by Wynonna or authorities. Roach had been seeking help for alcohol and drug problems at the Shades of Hope Treatment Center in Buffalo Gap, Texas, since February. He is being held in the Taylor County Jail in Abilene. Arrangements are being made for officers to travel to Abilene and return Roach to Nashville. “I am obviously devastated,” Wynonna said in a statement on her website. “We will move forward with our faith, family and our friends to find resolution to this difficult situation.” Wynonna married Roach, who had served as her bodyguard for ten years, in 2003.
