Wynonna Is Eliminated From “DWTS”

Wynonna danced off Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night (April 2) after only a handful of performances on the first season to have two country contestants. The good news for country fans is that Kellie Pickler looks to be a favorite to win!

Back to Wy: She got the low score—15 out of 30—the night before, and fan voting wasn't enough to save her. No matter to our favorite country diva.

"I faced one of my biggest fears and I've made a lifelong friend out of [partner] Tony [Dovolani]," she said on the show. "This is the hardest job I've ever loved."

Now what?

"I can't wait to get back to making my record. I love my country music fans better than ever."

After her elimination, front-runner Zandaya Coleman ran over to give her "prom queen" sash to Wy, and the other contestants offered hugs and kind words.

After the show, Wy posted this message on Twitter:

"Tonight was really hard. I am so sorry I let @TonyDovolani down & to all my fans who voted, thank you."
