Every girl loves a little spa time, a little mani-pedi, a little fresh face. But what happens when it gets in the way of hunting season?
Dove season opens in Tennessee on Sept. 1 and Kristen Kelly, whose autobiographical single "Ex Old Man" is currently climbing the charts, was recently invited to join her manager and his crew on day one.
With time being a precious commodity for the country newcomer, she thought she'd kill two birds with one stone and squeeze in a little beauty maintenance—eyebrow waxing—in the morning prior to the hunt. "I had to have it done by 10 a.m. so I could make it to the hunt in time for the traditional bologna sandwiches at noon," she tells CountryWeekly.com.
Unfortunately, her beautician didn't have an available slot for Kristen, so instead of skipping the hunt, the Lorena, Texas, native is nixing the day of glam to get covered in camo.
Oh, this isn't Kristen's first time to sling a shotgun. She loves to hunt . . . and we like her style.
