Willie Nelson Says Goodbye to Braids

The Red Headed Stranger may still be redheaded, but Willie Nelson no longer has his trademark long locks. The 77-year-old singer, known for writing the Patsy Cline hit "Crazy" and performing such well-loved classic country hits as "On the Road Again" and "Bloody Mary Morning," showed up for a May 22 concert with his son Micah's band, The Reflectacles, in Hawaii sporting a noticeably shorter style.

While Willie has not commented on why he chose to cut his hair, his spokeswoman says that he most likely tired of the maintenance involved with keeping the longer hair.
