What happens when you put hit songwriters Luke Bryan, Lee Brice and Cole Swindell on a tour together? You would expect a three-way collaboration resulting in buckets of new songs. But, surprisingly, that hasn’t happened yet.

Still, Luke is optimistic. “It’s fun having your buddies out,” he tells Country Weekly about his That’s My Kind of Night Tour. “Hopefully, me and Lee and Cole can get together and write a song one of these days.”

Newcomer Cole Swindell is more than just a buddy, hit writer (“Chillin’ It”) and fellow Georgia boy. He also used to work for Luke, and that adds to the fun for the tour headliner. “To have Cole out there with me night in and night out—it brings back of lot of memories from when he was selling [merchandise],” Luke says. “We’re having a blast with it.”
