’Twas quite an episode of Celebrity Apprentice last night as rock singer Meat Loaf made it rain. Tears, that is.

Meat Loaf was upset at the idea of losing the challenge and hence losing a sizable donation to his charity. So country’s own John Rich told the rock singer that he would cover any donation to Meat Loaf’s charity if the men’s team lost.

“Meat is a good man, couldn’t stand to watch him cry anymore,” John explained on his Twitter page after the episode aired.

Turns out the men won, catapulting John into the last rounds.

There are a couple of TV bloggers out there who think John will indeed make it to the final two. One Entertainment Weekly writer says he’s pulling for a John vs. Marlee Matlin finale. Whadya think?
