Supercute Nashville Star alum Whitney Duncan is set to be on the next season of CBS’ Survivor.

But don’t let her blond hair and darling figure fool you. “People may think I’m Barbie but I’m actually closer to kick-ass Barbie,” Whitney says in a promotional video (see below).

“I grew up in the country. I'm from freakin’ backwoods of Tennessee. This is what it’s like in the woods. I grew up in the woods.  Let's just say I didn't play with dolls a lot. I’m more of a tomboy.”

Survivor: South Pacific starts Sept. 14.
