When David Nail Got Taylor Tour Spot, He Suddenly Got Real Popular

Hears from folks he hasn't heard from in 10 years.

David Nail ("Let It Rain") just finished a couple of dates this past weekend on the Taylor Swift tour. And, boy howdy, nothing like scoring an opening slot for Taylor Swift to flush old acquaintances out into the open.

"I'll bet I had 35 messages on Facebook the next morning [after the shows were announced]," David tells CountryWeekly.com.

"Your friends are people you went to high school with, but you haven't talked to in years. Suddenly, someone who hasn't said hello or congratulations or anything: 'Hey, it'd be great if I could get seven tickets and meet-and-greet passes to the Taylor show,'" he says, laughing. "And that's actually all we get is seven. I appreciate your modesty in only asking for seven."

David has been amazed at Taylor's talents.

"It's completely incomprehensible for me that she can be 21 years old and write all these songs about herself," he says.

David will continue to show off his own talents when his sophomore album, The Sound of a Million Dreams, comes out Nov. 15.
