Prolific “Tweet”-er LeAnn Rimes is back on social network Twitter only about a week after declaring she was “taking a break from twitter for a while.”

LeAnn posted July 7 that it was unhealthy for her and her family to have to “read negative comments from people who’s [sic] opinions have no bearing on my life.”

LeAnn had been getting some negative reaction to her posts about her relationship with actor Eddie Cibrian, whom she reportedly started dating while the two were married to others.

“I love my fans so very much and will return one day soon,” she wrote.

LeAnn wasn’t kidding. Her Twitter silence lasted exactly seven days.

“Hi twitter land! Missing u all and thought I'd just say hello!” she posted July 14. “I have so many darling fans and want you all to know how much u r appreciated.”

The next day, LeAnn posted: “you know, why let a very small number of people effect [sic] my great relationship w/ my fans. Love them!”

Since her Twitter returns five days ago, LeAnn has thanked concertgoers, posted some pics, gushed about friends, tequila and the California sun and made the following observation: “The phoenix airport smells like dirty mop water. Yuck!”

Not one mention so far of Eddie.
