Waycross Featured on Soldier’s Second Chance Concert

Rising new band Waycross will be one of the featured performers on the Soldier’s Second Chance Tour Benefit Concert and Fund Raiser near San Francisco, Nov. 10 and 11.

The tour brings 12 wounded special-needs soldiers from their base of Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC to the San Francisco Bay Area over Veteran’s Day weekend. A full slate of activities is planned for the soldiers, highlighted by the benefit concert, Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Alameda Country Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, Calif. Waycross was featured in the Sept. 24 Who’s New section of Country Weekly.
