Voting is now underway for the 2007 CMT Music Awards, which honors the year’s best videos.
The first round of voting has begun on cmt.com and will run through Feb. 23. Once CMT announces the finalists in each category on Feb. 28, fans can vote for their favorites again through April 13. Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, the Dixie Chicks and Sugarland have received three nominations each to lead the field of first-round finalists. The 2007 CMT Music Awards will air on CMT Monday, April 16, from Nashville and will be hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
