The Voice Season 3 Has Country Flair

Judge/Mentor Blake Shelton hoists his ACM award on the show.

It looks like NBC’s The Voice may have more of a country flair this year—at least according to an exclusive promo obtained by CountryWeekly.com.

The new clip includes a contestant belting out Gretchen Wilson's "Here for the Party" and judge/mentor Blake Shelton jokingly (we think) boasting about his Academy of Country Music Award while Ronnie Dunn's "Let the Cowboy Rock" plays in the background.

Meanwhile, Blake shares his thoughts about the show, including how he feels it is impacting his career, in the Sept. 10 issue of Country Weekly, on newsstands Sept. 3. "I’ve sacrificed the peak of my career," he tells Country Weekly. "I don’t know how long I can stand it." Blake also talks about the opportunities the show has brought him and how his wife Miranda Lambert has "saved" his life.

The new season of The Voice premieres Sept. 10.
