“Voice” Promo Resembles Keith Urban’s Tour Announcement

Everyone is still giggling over the new promo video for the upcoming season of NBC's The Voice, which features Blake Shelton and Adam Levine along with new coaches Usher and Shakira. The gang piles into Blake's truck and begins fighting over the radio, before they break into a full-throated chorus of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" a la the infamous "Superstar" scene featuring Chris Farley and David Spade in the 1995 movie Tommy Boy.

But as some astute fans have pointed out, the clip bears a close resemblance to an earlier video from Keith Urban to announce his upcoming tour. This one features Keith driving a sedan and accompanied by his tourmates Little Big Town (all crammed into the backseat) and Dustin Lynch. In this case, the car's radio isn't working and the gang has to make their own fun by singing a variety of tunes, from "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" to "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang."

Check them out below and decide for yourself.
