Vince Gill, Rodney Crowell Slated for Celebrity Barn Dance & Benefit Concert

Proceeds will benefit MusiCares.

The barn dance is a time-honored tradition of country and roots music, and a righteous good time, to boot.

So here's a humdinger of an event: The upcoming Celebrity Barn Dance & Benefit Concert, which benefits MusiCares, will be held Aug. 31 at the Jaeckle Centre, Nashville's premier equine facility and the largest barn in the South. Rodney Crowell, Vince Gill, Elizabeth Cook and others will be on hand to perform.

“The Jaeckle Center is an ultra-modern equine facility and it’s the perfect setting for an old-fashioned barn dance,” said Rodney in a statement. “Teresa Jaeckle and I stumbled upon the idea of hosting a dance to raise money for MusiCares, an organization that provides assistance to musicians during troubled times. Vince Gill, Elizabeth Cook and I have tapped some of Nashville’s finest players to provide the music and we expect a few friends to drop in unannounced for an evening filled with mirth and merriment.”

VIP guests get to wine and dine, knowing they're helping a worthy cause. Get tickets at jaecklecentre.com/barn-dance.
