Vince Gill and wife Amy Grant are part of an all-star cast that will perform when the Nashville Choir presents "A Tribute to the Songs of Bill & Gloria Gaither" at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on May 1 in Nashville.

Bill Gaither is a longtime Southern gospel and Christian artist while wife Gloria is his frequent co-writer and collaborator.

Other performers include Michael W. Smith, Sandi Patty, The Isaacs, Buddy Greene, Russ Taff and the Gaither Vocal Band.

"Bill and Gloria are a living testament to great faith, great marriage, great friendship and an anointed collection of songs," says Vince.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Gospel Music Trust Fund and the Nashville Choir’s work with the homeless through Hope for Nashville.

Earlier in the day, Vince and the Nashville Symphony will perform at Voices Rising: Remembering One Year Later, Nashville's one-year anniversary flood commemoration ceremony on the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge. The bridge spans the Cumberland River, which overflowed its banks last year and flooded portions of downtown Nashville and caused extensive damage to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
