Vince Gill Helps Mentor Nationwide Contest

Vince Gill has been chosen to be one of the mentors for Constituting America’s “We the Future” contest, focusing on educating today’s youth about the importance of the U.S. Constitution.

The contest is open to students from the elementary school through graduate school levels. Contestants are allowed to enter an original song, short film, essay or public service announcement.

Contest winners will win a unique opportunity to meet Vince or any of the other celebrity mentors: actor Gary Sinise and TV news anchors Brit Hume and Bret Baier.

Constituting America was founded by actress Janine Turner, best known for her television roles in Northern Exposure and Friday Night Lights.

The “We the Future” contest was created to give students the opportunity to use current media outlets to express their thoughts on the U.S. Constitution.
