Vince Gill and wife Amy Grant opened their beautiful Nashville home to around 140 guests as they hosted the 2014 Heart Gala Patron Party, Tuesday night (Jan. 28). The Patron Party celebrates the impact of the local community on the mission of the American Heart Association. Many of the guests were American Heart Association patrons and supporters.

Vince and Amy have long supported the American Heart Association and decided to host the party in their home this year to give it a more informal feel. The charitable couple urged folks to “make yourself at home” and enjoy the evening. Guests, which included pop-star-turned-country-singer Tiffany, were treated to several buffet tables of sandwiches, fruit trays and desserts, while a pianist played favorite classic tunes in the main room. During a short presentation, longtime American Heart Association volunteer Marion Couch was presented with a special award honoring her years of volunteer work.

The party also previewed the American Heart Association’s biggest event of the year, the annual Heart Gala, set for Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville.
