Victoria’s Secret Angel Retracts Her Taylor Swift Snub

“I can’t imagine why I would have said anything bad about her,” model Jessica Hart says.

Apparently, these angels have a naughty side.

To see Taylor Swift’s Twitter feed, it was all love between the country star and the angels at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show taping last week (Nov. 13), where Taylor performed a song as models strutted around her.

So many friends and fans said Taylor could fit in right among those models. And then, there was model Jessica Hart, who told Women’s Wear Daily flatly “no” when asked if Taylor could be one of them.

“She didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that,” Jessica said.

“I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we’ve been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself,” Jessica added. “I think it comes with age. It’s definitely the benchmark of all jobs.”

Needless to say, that didn’t fly too well with Taylor’s fans. And Jessica ended up retracting her statement.

“I adore Taylor Swift, and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. What Taylor does on stage is nothing compared to what we do,” Jessica told US magazine.

“I could never get up there and do what she does! She is a true rock star and she absolutely killed it the other night. Her song ‘Pieces’ was one of my favorite songs, and I own her first-ever CD. I can’t imagine why I would have said anything bad about her.”

The special airs Dec. 10 on CBS at 10 p.m. ET.
