U.S. SOLDIER HAS DREAMS OF NASHVILLE

U. S. Soldier, Paul Gourley brings his own brand of country along while he's stationed in Tikrit, Iraq. When he's not on duty, he's writing songs or serenading his buddies with country music.

In a profile on Fox News, the young soldier said that being stationed so far from home has made him a better writer.

As any good songwriter will tell you, loneliness and angst are great catalysts. Although life in an active war zone is not easy, he plans to head for Nashville when his tour of duty is over and try his luck on the street of dreams.
