Dierks Bentley went from his fifth annual Miles & Music for Kids bike ride/concert to New York City for a four-night run in the Big Apple.

Last night (Oct. 20), Dierks did a songwriters’ night at a place called Joe’s Pub, and he performed with friends Jessi Alexander (Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb”), Jim Beavers and Jon Randall Stewart.

Also making an appearance, at least out on the street: comedian Will Ferrell. Or was it?

Dierks put a pic up on his Twitter page, with the message:

“will ferrell @funnyordie is following me around . . . tailgating and playing my songs outside Joe’s pub!”

Turns out though, that it wasn't Will after all. Just someone that looked a lot like him, according to Dierks' publicist.
